We offer a wide range of Electrolytes & Neutralytes supplies to meet all your marking needs. These solutions are very safe to use and MSDS sheets are sent with each solution ordered. We offer electrolytic marking solutions for almost every type of metals (see Etching Chart) and also specific grade versions for the Nuclear Industry that come with lab testing analysis reports. We also offer new generation (non-oxiding) etching solutions that require no Neutralyte to be used after the etching process have been completed

Electrolytes

Electro Etching Supplies, Electrolytic EtchingOver many years of trial and testing we have developed the right electrolytic specification to help you get a mark on almost any type of metal product. These formulas are tired and true and will give you the best results on your production marking. To see what solution works for your specific application please view the Etching Chart.

Neutralytes

Electrolytes & Neutralytes supplies for etching machinesOur Neutralytes are designed to remove any residual solution and material that has formed from the marking process and will protect your parts from any future oxidization. These Neutralytes will help form a protective coating over the marking area and will help maintain the marking quality over time.

Nuclear Grade Electrolyte Solutions

Electrolytes & Neutralytes supplies for etching machinesWe get numerous calls inquiring about “nuclear grade” solutions and looking for nuclear grade electrolytes used to mark their metal production parts for the Nuclear industry along with questions about neutralyzers to clean the parts before and after the marking.

What nuclear grade means, is that the parts are being manufactured to a military standard USA MIL-STD-792. The United States Military Standard states, “The electrolyte shall be compatible with the base material to be marked, electrolytes containing total halogens (bromine, chlorine, fluorine, iodine and astatine), sulfur and lead in excess of 250 parts per million (p/m) each shall not be used. Certified test results shall be submitted with each batch or mix of electrolyte to establish compliance with this limit”.

The certified test of each solution lot with lab reports are included with each NCL-Neutralyte and 59-CSF Electrolyte. We would also be happy to send out a sample of our Nuclear grade electrolyte, Neutralyte or Cleaners for you to try to insure it works on your
materials. Should your company be working to the MIL-STD-792 specification and have
any questions on Nuclear Grade marking solutions, please feel free to contact us.
