The power etching marking heads come in the form of a carbon block or a wire sceen hand held unit. The carbon marking heads come in various differnt sizes and also custom sizes if requested. These marking heads are used to hold electrolytic solution on their absorbent felt or paper pads and are used to apply power to the stencils marking area.
Deep Etch Heads
The Deep Etch Heads are 1/2″ x 1-1/2″ in size which allows for the most current to be applied to the surface of your parts. The conductive carbon surface will help etch out the image on the stencil into your parts. These heads are custom manufactured to our specifications and have a very long life cycle. There is also a fluid reservoir in the handle that allows for solution to be stored and feed through a small pin hole into the carbon head below.
Hand Marker
The Hand Marker is a simple designed unit using paper wire screens and being small enough can fit into areas that the larger Deep Etching Heads cannot reach. This unit uses a lexan body and electrical connection on the sides to the paper wire screen and has no fluid reservoir but comes with a dual compartment fluid tray, just dip and mark.
